A couple weeks back was the infamous Wekfest held at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. Wekfest has been around for years now and is a very well-known car show in the States with shows all across the country, from San Francisco, Chicago, Hawaii to name a few. This is one event you don't want to miss, as the best of the best come and showcase their hard work and innovation through their cars. We've covered last year's Wekfest in the Bay Area as well as Long Beach, and the competition from these shows is at an all-time high. Once again we made the 5-6hr drive down to LA from the Bay just to make it to the event. When we arrived there was already a long queue of cars waiting in the parking lot as they were slowly let into the show, and arriving early is a perk for us photographers because we can shoot without having the crowds get in the way of getting our shots.
Just a few cars out in the lot waiting to get in...
